Tour Description
On the day of the activity, we'll meet at the Posada Temazcal to begin this unique experience in the magical town of Tepoztlán. We'll head to the site where the temazcal, a traditional steam bath with roots in the ancient pre-Hispanic cultures of Mesoamerica, will take place.
Once at the site, we'll learn what this ritual consists of. Then, we'll enter the temazcal cabin, an igloo-like structure where the ceremony takes place. You can decide whether you want to go in alone or with other people.
For about 50 minutes, you'll be enveloped in the warmth of the steam and the aroma of the medicinal herbs. This combination will not only detoxify your body but will also help you to relax deeply, releasing any built-up tension and renewing your energy. After the steam bath, you'll have time to refresh and soak up the feeling of well-being that will come over you.
