Discover the charm of the Lithuanian capital as you pedal around the historic city. This bike tour of Vilnius is the perfect way to explore its hidden gems.
Vilnius Bike Tour
After meeting at 11 am on Pylimo Street, we'll get kitted out ready to delve deep into the historic streets of Vilnius on our bike tour.
We'll start pedalling along our route while admiring some of the most famous graffiti found in the Lithuanian capital, soon reaching the Užupis district. The most alternative area of Vilnius, the neighbourhood is full of charming cafés and art on every corner. Did you know that this district declared itself independent in 1998? Our guide will reveal the "laws" that govern this self-declared republic nestled in the heart of Vilnius.
Having discovered the more bohemian side of Vilnius, we'll enter the old town through the Gates of Dawn, where we'll hear all about the miracles linked to the 16th century entrance to the city. We'll pedal through the cobbled streets to admire the capital's most emblematic monuments, including the Vilnius Cathedral, the University and the Town Hall. Reaching the Vilnius Synagogue, we'll learn about the Jewish heritage of this city that came to be known as the "Jerusalem of the North".
At the end of our two or three hour bike tour, depending on the pace of the group, we'll return to the original meeting point.
