Do you like winter sports? On this day trip to Grindelwald from Zurich, you'll enjoy a beginner's skiing lesson at the Bodmi Arena. A unique experience in the Swiss Alps!
Description
At the scheduled time, we'll meet at the Sihlquai bus station parking lot, and from there, we'll make our way towards the canton of Berne, in the Swiss interior.
Firstly, we'll stop off at a snow sports shop located in Interlaken. After getting all our equipment ready, we'll head to Bodomi Arena, a famous ski resort located in the town of Grindelwald. If the conditions are unfavourable, the class will be carried out at another one of the surrounding stations.
The Bodomi Arena Resort in Grindelwald stretches to around 6000 metres squared and has 22 slopes - a real icon around the Jungfrau region. The ski class will be done in the beginner's areas, as this activity is orientated towards those who are only getting started with winter sports.
The ski class will last around 2.5 hours and will be limited to a maximum of 8 people. We'll learn lots of tips about how to snow plough and how to slow down correctly while skiing. You'll see that it's not really that difficult. All it takes is practice!
After enjoying the ski class, you'll have the rest of the day free to enjoy the Bodomo Arena and its beginner slopes. Finally, we'll return to Interlaken to return our gear and then begin our return journey back to Zurich, where this activity will be brought to an end after 12 hours in total.
