Being in a sacred place and watching the sunrise from the top is a unique experience. It's an activity that combines hiking, history, and nature. The path isn't easy, and the last part, the staircase, is even more challenging. There are breaks along the way. It's possible to buy drinks and snacks (cash only). It's important to bring warm clothing (it's windy and cold at the top). The monastery is entirely historic: doors, paintings, candlesticks, altar…
ways accompanied by a helpful photographer (paid separately). Lunch at a typical spot by the Blue Hole. Only issue: voucher said Spanish, but it was in English—didn’t affect the day. Some people (not guides) insist on tips, which is annoying—just ignore. Quad biking, camel ride, and snorkeling were all very good.
