We’ll meet at Barcelona’s Estació del Nord at the designated time and set off for the historic city of Girona, where we'll arrive after 1.5 hours.
Once there, we'll give you your ticket to the Girona Cathedral and the Basilica of Sant Feliú and you can explore the city at your own pace. Did you know scenes from the sixth season of Game of Thrones were filmed here?
We’ll wander through the old town (Barri Vell) to discover over 2,000 years of history, from its Roman origins with the construction of the Força Vella to the medieval expansion. You’ll also see the baroque façade and staircase of Girona Cathedral, which was transformed into the Great Sept of Baelor for Game of Thrones.
After visiting the cathedral, you can enter the Basilica of Sant Feliu and discover its religious art. We recommend walking by the Monastery of Sant Pere de Galligants and exploring the Call, one of Europe’s best-preserved Jewish quarters, a maze of narrow medieval streets.
Then, you'll have some free time in Girona to walk, eat, and visit the city at your own pace. Afterward, we'll regroup in the city center to return to Barcelona, arriving approximately 9 hours after pickup.
