5-Day Tour Details
Day 1: Beirut
Welcome to Lebanon! When you land at Beirut airport, we'll be waiting for you at the arrivals terminal to assist you with your visa and take you to the hotel where you'll be staying. Depending on how early you arrive, you can enjoy the rest of the day exploring Beirut at your own pace.
Day 2: Tyre - Sidon - Beirut
We'll spend the second day of our tour of Lebanon exploring the country's southern half, visiting centennial cities. First up, we'll visit Tyre, which preserves a fascinating collection of Roman, Phoenician, Greek, and Byzantine ruins.
After visiting this historic town, we'll visit Sidon to see its castle, Old Town, the souk, and the fishing area.
The day will end back in your accommodation in Beirut.
Day 3: Byblos - Tripoli - Beirut
After breakfast, we'll head to the ancient cities of Byblos and Tripoli. Starting in Byblos, considered one of the oldest cities in the world, we'll marvel at the city walls dating back to the Phoenician era, the Roman theater, the Crusader Castle, and the Church of St. John the Baptist.
In the afternoon, we'll arrive at Tripoli, the second most important city in Lebanon. Here, we'll enjoy a tour to see its citadel, the mosques, and souks, whose mixture of Eastern and modern styles will captivate you.
Then, once again, we'll return to Beirut to bring the day to an end.
Day 4: Anjar - Baalbeck - Beirut
Let's kick off the day with breakfast at the hotel in Beirut and then depart for the Bekaa Valley, where the village of Anjar awaits us. There, we'll visit the Umayyad ruins before traveling to Baalbeck for its impressive Roman remains. As we stroll among the ruins of the temples of Jupiter, Venus, and Bacchus, we'll come to appreciate the quality of their preservation.
Heading back to Beirut, we'll make a pit stop in Ksara for a wine tasting. Finally, we'll arrive at the hotel in the Lebanese capital, where we'll spend the night.
Day 5: Beirut
The end of our 5-day tour of Lebanon is here! After breakfast, you'll have the rest of the day to enjoy the city at your own pace until we pick you up for your airport transfer and your return flight.
