Doi Inthanon Day Trip from Chiang Mai
At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Chiang Mai and travel by minibus towards Doi Inthanon National Park, one of the most important national parks in Thailand.
We'll first stop at the Mae Klang waterfall, one of the most amazing waterfalls in the area. Afterward, we'll visit Doi Inthanon National Park, the highest point in Thailand at a towering altitude of 8,200 ft (2,500 m).
Our tour will continue with a hiking route along the angka natural trail, which will take us to the famous twin stupas or pagodas of Napamatanee Don and Napaphon Bhumisiri. After visiting these impressive temples, you'll have an hour free for lunch on your own.
Following lunch, we'll continue our day trip by meeting various members of the Karen Hill tribe in a fascinating village called Mae Klang Luang. Here, we'll enjoy a local coffee and tea tasting.
Lastly, we'll visit the Wachirathan waterfall, whose spectacular cascades will leave you speechless.
Finally, we'll return to Chiang Mai, where we'll conclude this 10.5-hour tour in the Chiang Mai Airport Mall.
