Copenhagen Bike Tour

Pedal around the historic centre of the Danish capital on this sightseeing bike tour of Copenhagen, one of the world's most bike-friendly cities!

Copenhagen Bike Tour Itinerary

After meeting your guide at 11 am in Frederiksborggade, right in the heart of the Danish capital, you'll be kitted out with your helmets and hop onto your bicycles ready to begin your sightseeing tour of Copenhagen city centre on two wheels.

You'll spend three hours cycling around the city's most emblematic monuments. Firstly, you'll cycle over the elegant Rosenborg Castle, the perfect example of Dutch Renaissance architecture, before pedalling onwards to visit a sculpture that has become the symbol of Copenhagen. Do you know what it could be? The Little Mermaid! This bronze statue, created in homage to the famous character created by Danish author Hans Christian Anderson, is located at the city's port.

The next stop on your bike tour will be Amalienborg, a palace that is the official residence of the Danish royal family. After admiring the impressive Rococo-style complex, you'll continue cycling towards the Copenhagen Opera House, one of the most contemporary and most expensive opera houses in the world. You'll then reach Nyhavn, the city's most famous canal, where you'll stop to take in the views of the stunning colourful houses that line its banks, before heading over to the fascinating area of Freetown Christiania.

Afterwards, you'll make a stop in front of Christiansborg Castle, the current seat of Parliament, and the Tivoli Gardens, one of Copenhagen's most beautiful spots. Did you know that this is one of the oldest theme parks in the world? Your bike tour will also take you to see the City Hall and Nytorv, the market.

Your sightseeing bike tour of Copenhagen will come to an end back at the original departure point, passing by St. Peter's Church and the iconic Rundetaarn on the way.
