Unlimited Public Transport
The card also allows you to get on and off public transport at will between 24, 48, 72 or 120 hours, including trains, buses and the Copenhagen Region Metro.
This card also gives you free access to or from Copenhagen airport, as well as being valid for train travel to the beautiful surrounding towns of Roskilde, Hillerød or Helsingør. Here you can find, the Museum of Viking Boats, the Frederiksborg Castle and the Kronborg Castle respectively.
How does it work?
Your Copenhagen Card is activated when used for the first time, whether this is in public transport or in a museum or monument. From this moment onwards, you can take advantage of the card during the first 24, 48, 72 or 120 hours depending on the duration of the card.
Collecting the card
You can collect your Copenhagen Card in the following points simply presenting the voucher that we send you after booking:
- Copenhagen Airport Tourist Information Point: Arrivals terminal. Between May and October from 5:10 am and 11 pm. Between November and April from 6:10 am to 11 pm.
- Copenhagen Visitors Centre: Vesterbrogade, 4A. In October, November, December, January and February the office is open from Monday to Saturday, 9 am to 4 pm and on Sundays until 2 pm. In March and April it's open daily from 9 am to 4 pm. In May, June and September from 9 am to 6 pm daily except Sundays, when it closes at 4 pm and in July and August it's open from 9 am to 8 pm except for on the weekend when it closes at 6 pm.
- Copenhagen Central Station Tourist Information Point: next to the 7-Eleven shop in the station. Between September and May from 9 am to 5 pm. Between June and August from 9 am to 8 pm.
