Discover one of Düsseldorf's liveliest areas with this tour around MedienHafen. You'll also get to see the famous Frank Gehry buildings.
Guided Visit of MedienHafen
We'll meet at 2:30 pm at the Rhineturm entrance at 2:30 pm. The telecommunications tower, which stands at 174.5 metres tall, is symbolic in the German city. The light sculpture on the tower boasts the largest digital clock in the world. From here we'll go onto the harbour to begin the tour.
We'll walk around the most cosmopolitan areas of Düsseldorf for two hours, and admire the traditional architecture. One key part of the city that will surprise you are the buildings by the American architect Frank Gehry. The buildings, known as Neuer Zollhof, consist of 3 curved structures and were designed to appear as one building but each has its own identity. The modern art monument has greatly contributed to the MedienHafen landscape.
Continuing on, we'll visit the most important landmarks around the city and learn more about its history. Did you know that before becoming the modern district it is today it was no more than warehouses? We'll find out about MedienHafen's history and how it has evolved to be admired as it is today.
After 2 hours of entertainment, we'll arrive at Living Bridge, where we'll finish the tour at 4:30 pm.
