Laguna Capri Hiking Tour
Tour Details
At the designated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in El Calafate and set off to Los Glaciares National Park. Are you ready for an exciting hiking route through Laguna Capri? Get your cameras ready!
Once we arrive, we'll begin our hike of 8 km (4.9 mi). At the 1 km (0.62 mi) mark, we'll climb a steep slope until we reach the Mirador Río de las Vueltas, a natural balcony offering spectacular panoramic views.
At the 2 km (1.24 mi) mark, the slope will ease as we gain altitude along the western side of the valley, enjoying an incredible view of the Los Cóndores mountain range. Then, we'll reach the fork that leads us towards Laguna Capri. In this final stretch, the majestic mountains begin to emerge from behind the trees as we descend towards the shore.
From there, we'll admire one of the classic views of Patagonia: the Cerro Chaltén and its peripheral needles. Depending on the weather conditions, we'll search for the best place to enjoy a picnic-style lunch and toast with a warm drink, which can be tea or mate, as you rest.
Finally, we'll return on the same trail toward the village of El Chaltén, where we'll say our goodbyes after a total of 12 hours.
