We'll start our itinerary by visiting the Cathedral of Santa Maria Assunta, an interesting example of a mixture of architectural styles including late Romanesque, Renaissance and Baroque. Did you know that it was destroyed by a huge fire and then again later by a strong earthquake?

Then, we'll enter the fascinating medieval neighborhoods of Fondovico and Piaggio, which together make up the oldest part of the city. We'll visit the spectacular Church of San Michele, a temple of pre-Christian origin carved into the tuff and frescoed with fascinating Byzantine paintings.
Finally, we'll cross the Viadotto Madonna della Stella, a bridge dating back to the 18th century from which we can admire spectacular panoramas of the ravine... Don't forget your camera!
