Description
Day 1: Havana - Cienfuegos
We'll pick you up from your hotel in Havana at the indicated time and set off on the taxi journey to Cienfuegos where we're set to arrive after a comfortable 3.5-hour journey. Arriving in the historic city, we'll drop you off at the hotel to settle in, relax and get some lunch, at your own pace.
In the afternoon, we'll meet back up again and embark on a 3-hour guided tour of Cienfuegos where we'll visit the monuments located in Plaza José Martí. We'll set off from Calle San Andres and see landmarks like La Aduana park and the seafront promenade before ending our tour in Punta Gorda, where we'll enjoy extraordinary views of Cienfuegos and its bay.
Finally, we'll return to the hotel so you can rest.
Day 2: Cienfuegos - Trinidad
After breakfast in Cienfuegos, we'll leave the city behind and set off towards Trinidad, arriving after a 1.5-hour drive.
Once you're settled into the hotel, you'll have the rest of the day free to explore this picturesque town. Visit the neo-baroque Plaza Mayor, admire historic landmarks such as the Church of the Holy Trinity or simply get lost in its cobbled streets—you'll be enchanted by the colourful buildings!
Day 3: Trinidad
Our day begins with a tasty breakfast before setting off on a complete 3-hour guided tour of Trinidad at 10 am. Our tour will take us to discover all the hidden corners and most important places of interest of the town's historic centre, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1988.
During our tour, we'll travel through time learning all about the history of Trinidad as we admire Plaza Mayor, Casa de la Trova, the Romantic Museum and much more! We'll also reflect on one of the dark sides of Cuba's past visiting the areas where enslaved people lived and worked.
You'll then have the rest of the day free to continue exploring Trinidad at your leisure.
Day 4: Trinidad - Santa Clara
After having a delicious breakfast, we'll depart from Trinidad and head for Santa Clara. Arriving in the so-called “city of the revolution”, you'll be left to settle in and relax at the hotel.
In the afternoon, we'll pick you up for a guided tour in which we'll discover the details of the Cuban Revolution and why the city was so important in the final victory. We'll visit the Mausoleum of Che Guevara, where he is buried along with 29 other revolutionaries. We'll also get to see the majestic Cathedral of Santa Clara de Asís, La Caridad Theatre and Leoncio Vidal Park.
At the end of our 4-hour tour, you'll have free time to enjoy dinner at your own pace and enjoy the magic of Santa Clara at nightfall!
Day 5: Santa Clara - Varadero
On our last day, we'll get up early to enjoy the last breakfast of our trip. We'll then say goodbye to Santa Clara and set off for Varadero, where you'll be dropped off at your hotel for around midday.

- Trinidad: Hostal Casa Azul Santa Ana, Hostal Casa Bequer Damaris House, Hostal La Gallega, El Hermano Masón, La Esperanza Hostel, Hostal Nancy or similar.
- Santa Clara: Hostal Beny, Ibis Hostal, Hostal Ana or similar.
Itinerary Adjustments
Depending on availability, the tour of Trinidad will take place on the afternoon of day 2. In this case, you will have the whole of day 3 to explore Trinidad on your own.
