During this 9-day tour of Cuba, we'll explore some of the country's most amazing regions: Trinidad, Viñales, Cienfuegos, and los Cayos!
Between 8 and 9 am, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Havana to begin our 2.5-hour drive to Viñales. Our first stop after arrival will be at a tobacco plantation, where we'll gain a deeper insight into the process of tobacco production. After that, we'll pay a visit to a coffee factory - where we'll learn about the journey from the humble coffee bean to the perfect cup of coffee.
You'll then have some free time to grab some lunch before we visit a sugar cane plantation. After that, we'll make our way to your accommodation in Viñales so that you can get some rest or explore the town as you wish!
At dawn, we'll grab some breakfast before heading toward the heavenly Cayo Jutías - one of the most beautiful locations in all of Cuba. Here, we'll relax in the sun and take a refreshing dip in the crystal-clear waters - keep an eye out for the beautiful giant starfish which roam these waters!
At sunset, we'll say goodbye to Cayo Jutías and make our way back to Viñales. Once there, you'll have free time to continue exploring the town or to rest until the next day.
On day 3, we'll wake up early and eat a delicious breakfast before we begin making our way toward the wonderous Viñales Valley. Along this journey, we'll see such remarkable sites as the Mural of Prehistory and the Cueva del Indio - a spectacular karst cavern! After our visit, we'll make our way back to our accommodation.
We'll have a nice breakfast so that we have plenty of energy for our journey to Cienfuegos, which will take about 5 hours. Once there, you'll have the afternoon free to explore this beautiful southern town. You can visit the José Martí Park, the Palacio del Valle and simply enjoy wandering through its narrow streets to see the buildings inspired by 19th century France.
We'll have breakfast and set off for the El Nicho waterfalls, a wonderful natural site amidst tropical rainforests. There, we'll explore the waterfalls and pools hidden in the undergrowth and maybe even take a dip!
After that visit, we'll get back on the road for about 1 hour and 30 minutes until we reach the city of Trinidad. In Trinidad, we'll enjoy an informative guided walking tour, taking us to the city's most iconic colonial architecture as well as its its neo-baroque Plaza Mayor. At the end of the tour, we'll head back to your accommodation in the town centre.
After breakfast, we'll take a break from the city and make our way toward a true paradise: Ancon Beach. You'll have all day to chill out on the white sand of this Caribbean oasis. Time to relax!
When the sun begins to set on the horizon, we'll return to Trinidad, where you'll have the rest of the night free to rest in your room or go out dancing to Cuban rhythms.
To start the day off right, we'll have a wholesome breakfast in Trinidad before making the journey to Cayo Santa Maria, where an all-inclusive private resort awaits us! Enjoy the beach, the food, the shade of the palm trees and everything else that this paradise has to offer!
The penultimate day of our tour will also be spent on the beaches of Cayo Santa Maria. You'll have at your disposal everything you need to make the most of this magnificent paradise.
Stroll along the beach's white sand, swim in the turquoise waters or practise water sports!
On our last day, we'll have a traditional Cuban breakfast before enjoying our last swim and leaving Cayo Santa Maria, arriving back in Havana at approximately 9 pm. We'll drop you off at your hotel or at any central location of your choice.
