Havana's Enchanted Forest, also known as the Great Metropolitan Park, is an immense jungle in the heart of the Cuban capital. Discover its magic on this bike tour.

Havana Enchanted Forest Bike Tour Itinerary

Having met up at  9 am, the church by Vuelo Lam Park in Havana, on the morning of your tour, your guided bicycle tour of the Havana Forest will begin. On your bikes!

Kick off your cycling rhythm by pedalling over to El Vedado to take in the atmosphere of Havana's hipster neighbourhood, before heading to the banks of the Almendares River, where the Great Metropolitan Park is located. Designed by French landscape architect Jean-Claude Nicolas Forestier, whose other masterpieces include the gardens of the Champ-de-Mars underneath the Eiffel Tower, the lush greenery of the riverside urban park will remind you of the great Amazon rainforests - without even leaving the city!

Following the course of the river, you'll reach Parque Almendares, a park located under the bridge of the same name. Here you'll find a popular amphitheatre nestled amongst the verdant trees and plants of Havana's green lung. The Enchanted Forest, as it is fondly nicknamed, is home to any number of hidden surprises that you'll discover throughout your bike tour.

The final stop on your cycling route will be in Havana's Miramar district, where you'll take a well-earned break from pedalling to enjoy some fruit juice and tapas (not included). At around 12:30 pm, your tour will come to an end back at your original departure point.
