At the scheduled time, we'll pick you up directly from your hotel in Hue, setting the stage for an exciting journey to Hoi An via the renowned Hai Van Pass. We'll travel the picturesque road and uncover what makes it the most scenic drive in Vietnam.
Our adventure begins as we traverse the Hai Van Pass, where we'll delve into its historical significance. For example, we'll discuss how this location was pivotal in the Vietnam War. This vital road spans 145 kilometers (90 miles), weaving through captivating landscapes, and connects the cities of Hue, Da Nang, and Hoi An.
Our excursion will bring us to the remarkable Marble Mountains, between Hoi An and Da Nang. Upon arrival, you'll notice that these mountains are composed of five peaks, each symbolizing one of the five elements—an intriguing and unique location to explore!
Next, our journey will take us to the expansive Linh Ung Pagoda in Da Nang, which sprawls across an impressive 12 hectares (69 acres) of land. Within its grounds, you'll encounter the immense statue of Lady Buddha, revered as the goddess of mercy.
