At 8:15 am, we'll pick you up from your hotel on Isabela Island, and then we'll leave the city center to go to a tortoise breeding center in the Galapagos Islands.
The Arnaldo Tupiza Chamaidan Tortoise Breeding Center protects the giant tortoise species native to Galapagos from the time it hatches until it's 10 years old, when the tortoises are ready to protect themselves.
We'll tour this enclosure, one of the best breeding centers in the Galapagos Islands, and learn about the importance of this species to the ecosystem.
In the center, you'll be able to admire both adult and young tortoises. You'll fall in love with the cute little hatchlings!
After a 45-minute visit, we'll finish the tour and take you back to your hotel on Isabela Island.
