La Paz Ayahuasca Ceremony
When making your booking, you'll be able to choose between a 2, 3, 4 or 7-day spiritual retreat. All options begin with your arrival at 2 pm at the Allkamari Retreat Center in La Paz, where you'll spend a few days disconnecting from your troubles.
2 Day Ceremony
Once you've settled into your room, we'll meet between 5:30 pm and 6 pm for a meditation session lasting 1.5 hours. We'll then take a break until 9 pm when we'll reconvene in a temple to begin the ceremony. After making the introductions, the shaman will start the ayahuasca healing ritual. We'll drink this well-known concoction while the shaman recites sacred chants and guides us as we seek a connection with the spiritual world.
At 2 am, the ceremony will finish and we'll go back to our rooms. The next morning, we'll wake up at 8 am to have breakfast together and attend a talk that'll help us to process the experience we had the previous night. At 11 am and 12 noon, we'll say our goodbyes feeling reinvigorated.
3 Day Ceremony
This ceremony will be the same as the one detailed in the previous option, but we'll have 1 extra day before the ritual and 2 afterwards. The itinerary will be as follows:
Day 1: You'll arrive at the retreat and have some time to explore the surrounding area and meditate. Afterwards, we'll have dinner and spend the evening around the fire stargazing before retiring for the night.
Day 2: We'll have morning meditation, have breakfast and spend the morning exploring the mountains and valleys. Afterwards, we'll have lunch, and you'll have the afternoon free to rest. We'll meet again between 5:30 pm and 6 pm for a meditation and to prepare for the ceremony, which will take place that evening from 9 pm.
Day 3: After breakfast and the post-ceremony talk, we'll have lunch and in the afternoon we'll take a walk in the countryside, stopping to meditate surrounded by nature. In the evening, we'll have dinner and meet again for a final talk where we'll share the results of the experience. Between 11 am and 12 noon, we'll finish this experience.
4 Day Ceremony
The itinerary will be the same as for the 3-day ceremony, but in this option, we'll take advantage of an extra day. We'll have ceremonies on the first and third day, and leave the previous afternoon and evening for rest and meditation to prepare for the rituals.
7 Day Ceremony
The itinerary will be the same as in the previous options, but this one includes 2 ayahuasca healing ceremonies on the second and penultimate day. The remaining days will be used to relax and process the experience. During your free time, you'll be able to walk in the jungle, swim in the natural springs, meditate or take magnetotherapy treatments.
Accommodation and Meals
This activity includes 1, 2, 3 or 6 nights' accommodation in the Allkamari Retreat Center in La Paz.
Full board is included in the 3, 4 and 7-day packages. In the 2-day option, only breakfast is included. Please bear in mind that having dinner isn't advised on the nights before the ayahuasca ceremonies, hence dinners on the ritual days are not included.
