Valley of Souls & Palca Canyon Day Trip

After picking you up from your hotel in La Paz at 8:30 am, we'll set off southbound and make our way out of Bolivia's capital and towards the country's natural treasures.

Our first stop will be at the Valley of Souls. Here, we'll hike through its peculiar rock formations and learn all about the origin of its unique name. We'll walk until we reach the summit, from which we'll look out at a breathtaking view of the colourful and hilly landscape.

After taking lots of photos, we'll head to Palca Canyon. We'll see gorges, towering at a height of up to 656 feet (200 metres), that stretch out along the valley's 5-mile (8-kilometre) length. These colossal gorges owe their incredible shape to the elements, as they were formed due to thawing snow and lashing winds.

You'll then have 1 hour of free time to explore the area before we leave the valleys behind us and return to La Paz. Our day trip will conclude at 3:30 pm in San Francisco Square.
