Day Trip Details

At the designated time, we'll pick you up from your meeting point in Las Vegas and start our day trip to Nevada's oldest state park, the iconic Valley of Fire.

After about 1 hour, we'll arrive at the Valley of Fire State Park, a breathtaking setting of red sandstone rocks and dunes. Here, we'll start a guided tour where we'll discover this geological wonderland's striking colors and enjoy its desert hikes. Did you know the Valley of Fire represented a sacred place for some Native American tribes? You'll learn all about it with the guide, and even see the petroglyphs.

Then, we'll make a brief stop at the Beehives for photos, one of the famous landmarks in the park, and the majestic Elephant Rock. Depending on the month, we'll either discover the Fire Wave trail or the Rainbow Vista, along with a drive on Mouse's Tank Road. The Fire Wave trail is a popular 1.5-m (2.4 km) path known for its swirling stripes of red, pink, and white sandstone that resemble an ocean wave. The Rainbow Vista is a family-friendly hike where you'll take in beautiful views of Fire Canyon and see rocks along the trail of incredible colors, while Mouse's Tank Road is a scenic, 5.7-m (9.17 km) paved drive famous for its winding route through fiery red sandstone formations.

Afterward, we'll arrive at the newly renovated Valley of Fire Visitor Center to learn about the park's unique geology, local history, and flora and fauna.

Finally, we'll start our journey back to Las Vegas, where we'll arrive at the end point of your choice approximately 6 hours after pickup.
