Could it be true that Liverpool is the world in a city? Discover it with this free tour of the city which birthed the Beatles!

Free Walking Tour of Liverpool

The free tour of Liverpool begins in the heart of the city, just next to St. George's Hall. This neoclassical building is one of the emblems of the deep architectural heritage in the city.

Did you know that Liverpool was the main port of the largest empire in history? You'll see it for yourself at the Albert Dock, declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, as the largest port in the British Empire.

Liverpool was catapulted to fame as the city which gave birth to the most famous quartet ever: and during our free tour of the city we'll pass thorugh the streets and taverns where the Beatles played their first hits, such as the mythical Cavern Club

Our tour then takes us to the River Mersey, to discover the incredible maritime and commercial architecture of the city. Having admired impressive buildings such as Pier Head and we'll make our way to the Museum of Liverpool, an impressive building in which tradition and avant garde comes face to face.

The free tour of Liverpool then finishes near Albert Dock.
