Day Trip to Bled & Bohinj
Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet at the entrance of the Eurostars uHotel in Ljubljana, and we'll leave the Slovenian capital and head northeast. After a short 50-minute journey, we'll reach our first stop: Bled.
Once there, we'll go to the shore of its turquoise water lake, where we'll leave you 4.5 hours of free time to enjoy the wonders of Bled. There, optionally, you can visit Vintgar Gorge, one of the most impressive gorges in the area.
You can take a ride on a pletna, the typical Slovenian boat, to the famous island. Here, you'll find 99 steps leading up to the baroque-style Assumption of Mary Church.
At lunchtime, don't miss out on trying a kremšnita, a typical cream dessert. Absolutely mouthwatering!
Afterwards, we'll reconvene and head to Bohinj. There, we'll have the opportunity to see the largest glacial lake in Slovenia and be fascinated by the breathtaking views of the Julian Alps.
Finally, we'll drive to Skofja Loka, a small but beautiful village at the foot of the mountains. There, you'll have an hour of free time to explore its beautiful streets and learn about the local culture.
We'll finish the tour by returning to Ljubljana and leaving you at the starting point 10.5 hours later.
