    Our booked excursion was changed the day before. A WhatsApp message informed us that it would not be possible to visit the requested islands due to a group of hundreds of people preventing it from happening. The suggested alternative islands of Gili Layar, Gili Gede, and Gili Rengit instead of the ones we wanted proved satisfactory, and a special mention goes to our driver, Sonny, who was very helpful.
