Bernal and Tequisquiapan Day Trip
At 7:40 am we'll meet in Mexico City and board a minibus to set off for the town of Bernal. After a two and a half hour journey we'll reach the Peña de Bernal, the third-largest monolith in the world.
When we arrive we'll go on a pleasant guided tour along the slopes of the Peña de Bernal and admire the beautiful natural landscape. Then you'll have three hours of free time to climb it yourself or head down to the village of Bernal and explore its streets. You can also use this time to get some lunch.
Afterwards, we'll set off for the village of Tequisquiapan, a place famous for its beautiful handicrafts. We'll walk through its streets and you'll discover the works of local craftsmen from clay, ceramics, silver and opals to basketry and textiles. You're sure to find a unique souvenir to take home!
At the end of the trip, we'll get back on the minibus and return to Mexico City, arriving by around 6 pm.
