Bodega Bouza Tour
We'll pick you up at your hotel in Montevideo at the scheduled time and head northwest towards our destination. The trip will take us approximately 1 hour.
On arrival, we'll take a 45-minute guided tour inside the winery and its grounds. As we walk through the vineyards we'll get into the history of the family that manages this winery and start to discover what the winemaking process involves. The guide will explain concepts such as pigeage, de-stemming, malolactic fermentation and much more - you'll be an expert!
Also, we'll visit the underground caves where the ageing process takes place, which lasts between 6 and 18 months here.
At the end of our visit to the Bouza Winery, we'll enjoy a full lunch with wine pairing or a wine tasting with appetizers, depending on your choice.
Finally, we'll take you back to your hotel in Montevideo.
