Tour Details

Once at the entrance of H. Stagnari Winery, we’ll step into one of the contemporary temples of Uruguayan wine. Did you know that one of the most awarded Tannat wines in the world is produced here? It’s the country’s flagship variety.

We’ll begin the tour among carefully tended vines, learning how the terroir gives character and depth to each grape. We’ll stroll through the vineyards and uncover the secrets of H. Stagnari, from harvesting at the optimal moment to the meticulous selection of the fruit.

Then, we’ll head inside the winery and descend into the cellar, an almost ceremonial space where time becomes an ally. Among French and American oak barrels, we’ll learn how aging shapes the wine, adding complexity, elegance, and spicy notes without masking its varietal identity.

The tour will conclude in the Golden Hall, a space that reflects decades of excellence. Surrounded by international awards and recognitions, we’ll discuss the winery’s most distinguished labels and what has made them stand out.

We’ll end this 2-hour visit with a tasting where we’ll analyze unique aromas, notes, and finishes.
