We'll pick you up at your hotel in Montevideo at the designated time and set off to explore the vineyards situated on the outskirts of Uruguay's capital.
Our journey will take us through the Canelones wine region, where we'll delve into the cultivation of the renowned Tannat grape, one of Uruguay's finest. Along the way, we'll make stops at various vineyards to get a close look at the vines and gain insights into the entire cultivation process.
Next, we'll visit a winery dating back to the early 20th century, subject to availability and season. Here, you'll discover the best local wines, which, of course, you'll have the chance to sample.
Our winery tour will conclude with a delightful tasting featuring cheese, cured ham, and empanadas—a perfect accompaniment to the wines!
After lunch, we'll begin our return journey to the Uruguayan capital. Arrival at your hotel in Montevideo is scheduled for 5.5 hours after pickup.
