Mercado del Olivar Paella & Sangría Cooking Class
Activity Details
Are you in Palma de Mallorca and want to learn how to cook some of the most famous Spanish recipes? Welcome to this paella and sangria cooking class!
We'll meet in Plaça de l'Olivar, where we'll begin a culinary experience that's sure to impress. Let's get started!
Once everyone is ready, we'll head into the Mercado del Olivar, the largest and most important market in Palma de Mallorca. Located in the heart of the historic center, this market boasts countless stalls selling fresh produce, where you'll discover the most commonly used ingredients in Spanish cuisine, as well as the latest innovations.
As we stroll through the market, we'll show you the seasonal products and learn all about Mallorcan cuisine. As we wander among the stalls, we'll carefully select the ingredients we'll use in the cooking class.
Next, we'll head to the workshop area. We'll prepare a refreshing sangria accompanied by some traditional tapas.
Afterward, we'll make a seafood paella. We'll go through the step-by-step process of cooking this famous Spanish dish, covering every trick and essential technique. Now you'll be able to recreate this delicacy at home!
Finally, we'll sit down to enjoy the freshly made paella. After this Mediterranean experience, we'll say goodbye, and the activity will conclude 3.5 hours later.
