At the designated time, we'll meet at the Place de la Concorde, right in front of the Hôtel de la Marine, to start our free walking tour of Paris. Are you ready to see the city's most iconic landmarks, including the world's most visited monument?
Our tour begins at the meeting point, the majestic Place de la Concorde, one of the most historic and symbolic squares in Paris. Here, surrounded by grandeur and memory, we'll admire the elegant Hôtel de Crillon and the Luxor Obelisks, a pair of ancient Egyptian obelisks that are over 3000 years old.
From there, we'll head to the Champs-Élysées, the most famous avenue in France, and make our way toward the architectural gems of the Belle Époque: the Petit Palais and the Grand Palais. The guide will share details about these beautiful monuments before we continue toward one of the most spectacular bridges in Paris, the Pont Alexandre III.
Afterward, we'll walk toward the River Seine, which will lead us to the historic Hôtel des Invalides and the Pont de l'Alma, a site marked by tragedy. This bridge is near the tunnel where Princess Diana lost her life. Close by, the Flame of Liberty stands as a powerful symbol of tribute, memory, and resilience in the heart of Paris.
Next, we'll see a more contemporary and elegant side of the city. We'll pass by the Palais de Tokyo, where art, architecture, and modernity come together in striking contrast with the classical beauty that surrounds it.
Then, we'll reach the grand finale of our tour: the Eiffel Tower. Standing at 1082 ft (330 m) tall, the Iron Lady dominates the city in all its splendor, although it wasn't always part of the skyline.
