Located on the iconic Île de la Cité, together with the Notre Dame, the Conciergerie and the Sainte-Chapelle are the key architectural gems in this part of the city. This ticket will give you entry to both monuments on the same day; saving you time and money!
Conciergerie
This Gothic palace was once home to the French monarchy during the Middle Ages. However, during the French Revolution, it was turned into a prison, with its most remarkable prisoner famously being Marie Antoinette before she was executed. You can discover the palatial rooms and wonderful architecture, plus you can head down into the cells and see where the last queen of France spend her final days.
With your ticket to the Conciergerie, you'll receive a free informational leaflet in English and other languages. Guided tours in French are also available free of charge. The tours last about an hour and the timetable varies depending on the day. If you are interested in taking a guided tour in French, check with staff at the Conciergerie.
Conciergerie Opening Times
The Conciergerie opens every day from 9:30 am to 6 pm from 1st January to 31st December. Please note: last entry is 30 minutes before closing time.
Sainte-Chapelle
With one of the most extensive 13th-century stained glass collections anywhere in the world, the Sainte-Chapelle is an extraordinary temple listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. It was commissioned by King Louis IX of France to house his collection of the Passion of Relics and it is a must-see for anyone visiting Paris.
Sainte-Chapelle Opening Times
The Sainte-Chapelle opens every day at the following times:
- From 2nd January to 31st March: from 9 am to 5 pm.
From 1st April to 30th September: from 9 am to 7 pm.
From 1st October to 31st December: from 9 am to 5 pm.
Please note: last entry is 30 minutes before closing time.
Skip-the-Line Ticket
When you book your ticket, you'll be able to skip the lines at the ticket offices at the Conciergerie and the Sainte-Chapelle. However, you will have to wait in line to enter both monuments, as the security controls make take a few minutes.
Visit Each Monument Separately
If you prefer, you can visit each monument individually by booking a ticket to the Sainte-Chapelle and a ticket to the Conciergerie.
