Day Trip Details
At the indicated time, we'll meet on Avenue du Dr Brouardel, very close to the Eiffel Tower, to board a bus that will take us to Versailles, about 45 minutes from Paris. Did you know that this town was the capital of France at various stages in history? With the audio guide in English, you'll discover this and many other secrets during your visit.
Upon arrival, you'll be able to access the Palace of Versailles without having to wait in line at the ticket office. Thanks to the audio guide, which you can download directly to your phone or tablet, you'll learn anecdotes and interesting facts about every corner of the palace.
You'll be particularly impressed by the lavish Royal Apartments and, of course, the majestic Hall of Mirrors, where the famous Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919.
After touring the interior of the palace, you can take a leisurely stroll through the extensive and elegant gardens of Versailles. Its 800 hectares are filled with sculptures, fountains and flower beds that will take you back in time to the era of Marie Antoinette herself.
Finally, after exploring Versailles for 3.5 to 4.5 hours, it'll be time to board the bus and return to the meeting point in Paris, where we are expected to arrive between 6 and 7 hours after pickup.
