At the indicated time, we'll pick you up from your hotel in Punta Cana and start an exciting day trip. Samaná awaits us!
Firstly, we'll go to the port of Las Cañitas in Miches. There, we'll board a comfortable catamaran, on which we'll sail for an hour until we reach Santa Bárbara de Samaná. Upon arrival, we'll disembark to explore this picturesque town and learn about its history.
After visiting the village, we'll return to the boat and set sail for Cayo Levantado, one of the most beautiful sandbanks in the bay of Samaná. Upon arrival, we'll enjoy a delicious typical lunch overlooking the sea. After lunch, we'll leave you the rest of the day free to swim in the warm Caribbean waters and relax on the sand—a real privilege!
We'll then board the catamaran for the return trip to the port of Las Cañitas. As we sail, we'll be accompanied by the afternoon sun, which will paint the horizon in warm tones—perfect for relaxing!
Finally, we'll return to Punta Cana and drop you off at your hotel.
After picking you up at your hotel in Punta Cana, we'll head to the port of Las Cañitas, in Sabana de la Mar.
Once there, we'll enjoy a quiet catamaran ride on the beautiful bay of Samaná, perfect for relaxing in the sea breeze! Once in Samaná, we'll get on an SUV to go deep into the rainforest on our way to the community of El Limón.
Upon arrival, we'll begin a hike that will take us to the famous Salto del Limón, an impressive 40-meter-high (132 ft) waterfall. There, you can swim in the turquoise pool formed under the waterfall, a unique experience!
After the swim, you can enjoy a traditional Creole lunch at a local ranch in the area. After lunch, we'll return to the port and get back on the catamaran heading to Cayo Levantado, an island of white sand and crystal-clear waters where you can swim, relax or just enjoy this paradisiacal spot.
We'll finish the adventure back at your accommodation.
