We have travelled with a friend and the whole day trip was an easy way to visit most of the key places in Ayyutthaya from Bangkok. It was a very convenient way for the transportation (with air conditioning and water providing), our guide and his explanations and tips for photos ;)
We loved the excursion to the islands, it was at a good pace and Giovanni gave us a lot of information. The hot drink and biscuits was a nice surprise while on the trip.
