Day Trip Details
At the scheduled time, we’ll pick you up from your hotel in Rio de Janeiro and take you to see two of the city’s most iconic landmarks. Are you ready? Let’s go!
First, we’ll head up Corcovado Hill along a beautiful route that passes through the Tijuca Forest, one of the largest urban forests in the world. At the top, at 710 meters (2,329 ft) above sea level, the majestic statue of Christ the Redeemer awaits us, one of the New Seven Wonders of the World.
While we enjoy the panoramic views of the entire city, we’ll tell you the story behind this truly iconic monument. Of course, we’ll also give you some free time so you can take your souvenir photos.
Afterwards, we’ll make our way to the Santa Teresa neighborhood, located on a hill and known for its narrow cobbled streets, unique cultural atmosphere, and iconic yellow tram. After crossing the Lapa Arches, we’ll walk along the Selarón Steps to admire from start to finish the colorful tiles that make them so famous.
Finally, we’ll return to the starting point, where we’ll say goodbye after a total of 4 hours.
