There are many hidden treasures to discover in the famous city of Rio de Janeiro. At the designated time, we'll meet up in front of the main entrance of the impressive Municipal Theater to begin our free guided tour of Rio de Janeiro and the neighborhood of Lapa!
After admiring the theater's magnificent exterior façade and learning all about the history of Cinelândia Square, we'll continue this free tour of Rio de Janeiro by approaching the Escadaria Selarón, a street work by the Chilean Jorge Selarón, which has become one of the most photographed corners of Rio thanks to its striking coloured tiles.
Depending on the weather conditions, we'll pass by the Carioca Aqueduct, popularly known as Arcos da Lapa. Did you know that it's the largest architectural work in Brazil during the colonial period?
Afterwards, we'll walk along Avenida Rio Branco in the direction of the Confeitaria Colombo. Do you know why it's so popular with tourists? You'll find out! Then, we'll continue exploring other beautiful corners of the city.
After 2.5 to 3 hours, the tour will come to an end at the Praça XV de Novembro.
