The tour meets early on Wednesday morning on the Via della Conciliazione, one of the main streets in the centre of Rome, just around the corner from St. Peter's Square, the very centre of Vatican City.
The guide will walk you toward St. Peter's Square, sharing stories, anecdotes, and curiosities about the history of St. Peter's Basilica, the square itself, and the traditions surrounding the Papal Audience, including what to expect once you arrive.
Once at the square, your guide will assist the group through the access procedures and accompany you to the seating areas. You'll then take part in the Papal Audience, officiated by Pope Leo XIV, which begins at 10 am and draws thousands of pilgrims from around the world.
