Midnight Sun SUP Tour
Midnight Sun SUP Tour
At the indicated time, we'll meet at Maakuntakatu 29 and start paddle surfing in the midnight sun—a very special experience in Rovaniemi!
Arriving at your lakeside destination, you'll enjoy a lesson with an expert SUP, or "Stand Up Paddleboarding", instructor, who will explain the basic techniques you'll need to keep your balance and cruise across the lake while standing up on the paddle surf boards. Then, with your paddle in hand, it'll be time to get into the water!
While you paddle peacefully over the waters of Lapland, you'll be able to enjoy one of the most incredible natural sights to occur north of the Polar Arctic Circle: the midnight sun. Throughout the summer months, this unique spectacle gives the impression of an eternal sunset!
Next, we'll walk to the peak of a nearby hill and gaze out at a unique view of the stunning golden horizon: a breathtaking panoramic view that will undoubtedly stay with you forever.
We'll finish the activity by returning to the meeting point in Rovaniemi.
