Experience the magic of the Arctic Circle on this snowmobile trip to Santa Claus Village. We'll travel through the idyllic forests of Lapland, and you can post your letter at the famous Post Office.
Would you like to meet Santa Claus? If so, after picking you up from your hotel in Rovaniemi, we'll travel less than 10 km (6.4 mi) east of the city.
Upon arrival, we'll equip ourselves with everything we need and assign you your snowmobiles. After a safety briefing, we'll start up these powerful vehicles and set off on a tour lasting between 1 hour and 1 hour and 20 minutes. We'll venture into the forests of Lapland, where the sunlight reflects off the snow as if by magic.
During the snowmobile ride, we'll make photo stops to capture the purity of the Arctic Circle scenery. You'll feel like you're in a winter fairy tale! We'll continue on our way and, when you least expect it, the charming wooden houses of Santa Claus Village will welcome us.
We'll park the vehicles and take a half-hour guided tour of this wonderful Christmas setting, with its lit street lamps and little shops with red façades. Of course, we'll see the most iconic corners of Santa Claus' village, such as the Post Office. Did you know that since 1985, it has received more than 15 million letters from 198 countries? And the number keeps rising!
Next, we'll give you 2 hours of free time to explore this place at your leisure. Don't forget to say hi to Santa Claus, send postcards to your loved ones from there, buy handmade souvenirs and have a hot drink by the fire in one of the village cafés.
Finally, we'll meet up again to begin the journey back to your hotel in Rovaniemi, where we'll say goodbye after a total of 5 hours of touring.
This activity includes pickup from hotels located within a 10 km (6.2 mi) radius of the centre of Rovaniemi. If you're staying outside of this area, we'll get in touch with you after booking to arrange an alternative meeting point.
When booking, you can choose between an individual snowmobile or a shared snowmobile, which you can ride with your partner, friend or family member. Both of you can take turns driving the vehicle if you meet the necessary requirements. Please note that the price shown is per person.
To drive the snowmobiles, you must be at least 18 and present a valid driving licence.
