Don't miss the chance to explore Laponia on a snowmobile and enjoy a reindeer and husky sleigh ride along idyllic snowy trails. Adrenaline and Arctic landscapes await!
Activity Details
After being picked up from your selected pickup point at the indicated time, we'll head to a Lapland forest. Here, you'll be given thermal equipment to protect yourself from the cold and receive the safety instructions to drive the snowmobiles. Ready for this adventure? Let's go!
On board these vehicles, we'll drive for 1 hour through the white landscapes of Lapland, passing forests covered in snow and vast frozen plains that seem like a Nordic dream. Along the way, we'll stop to take pictures of this exciting moment. Don't forget your camera!
After the snowmobile journey, we'll switch vehicles and head to a reindeer farm that's in nature. Here, you'll enjoy a 1640 ft (500 m) reindeer sleigh ride and receive your "reindeer sleigh driver's license." You'll also meet the local shepherds who will tell us interesting facts about the life and breeding of reindeer in the 21st century.
Then, it'll be time to see the huskies. We'll go on a 1640 ft (500 m) husky sleigh ride and see up close how they work together to glide over the snow. You'll be amazed!
Here, you'll have some free time to explore the surroundings, take pictures, or breathe in the fresh Arctic air. If you want, you can have lunch or enjoy a hot drink at the farm's restaurant on your own.
Finally, we'll drop you off at the selected starting point, where arrival is scheduled 6 hours after pickup.
Pickup Points
During the booking process, you must select one of the following pickup points to begin the tour:
- Koskikatu, 8
- Santa Claus Village
Important Info
To drive the snowmobiles, you must have a valid type B driver's license. On the day of the tour, you must present your driver's licence in a physical format (photocopies or digital images are not allowed).
The prices shown are per person. However, each snowmobile must have two people. Both can take turns to drive the snowmobile if they meet the requirements.
If the number of people in the group is odd, someone in the group will have to share a snowmobile with another member of the activity.
Children aged 2 to 13 will travel on the sleigh behind the guide. We recommend that one of the adults go on the sleigh to ensure their safety. If a child taller than 4 ft 7 in (140 cm) wishes to ride as a passenger on a snowmobile, they must book an adult ticket.
