The Punta Negra Dike, Ullum Dam, and Cerro de la Sal hill are some of the beautiful landscapes around Filo Negro mountain. Discover them all when you take our fantastic trekking activity from San Juan.
What to expect
We will collect you from your hotel in San Juan early in the morning and from there head east in an All Terrain Vehicle. Leaving the city behind we will pass through stunning mountain landscapes. After traveling for 40 minutes, we will reach the beautiful region of Ullum.
Our first stop is the Punta Negra Dike where we begin a 4-hour hike. The path will take us up to the summit of Filo Negro (Black Ridge). As we ascend, you will enjoy breathtaking views of the Zonda Valley and Ullum lake.
Arriving at the top, you will realize that it has been worth the effort, as the panorama of Punta Negra lake, the dam, and the Cerro de la Sal hill will leave you speechless.
After the tough ascent, we begin our descent back to the original starting point where we take the 4x4 back to San Juan.
