Visit the beach and mountains on the same day. This day trip to El Tunco and Tamanique waterfalls allows you to swim in the sea and relax in the mountains.
After picking you up from your hotel in San Salvador at the time indicated, we'll head by minibus to the coast. Where are we going? El Tunco Beach!
After an hour-long journey, we'll arrive at this paradise. Did you know that El Tunco is very famous among surfers? It's also the perfect bay for taking a tip and enjoying the sounds of the sea. Additionally, you'll be amazed by the mangroves in the area where the Rio Grande River meets the sea.
From the coast, we'll head inland and upwards to the mountains in Tamaique, where we'll go hiking in search of waterfalls in this green landscape. Along the route, we'll enjoy the peace that the nature in El Salvador offers.
We'll end this day trip by returning to San Salvador, where we'll drop you off at your hotel after 7 hours of activity.
This trip includes pickup from hotels in San Salvador. If you're lodging in a private residence, please arrive at 9 am at the local tour provider offices, Inter Tours. You'll find them on the 1st floor of the Balam Quitzé Shopping Centre.
