Garrotxa Trip

We will meet up at 8:50 am in the center of Santa Susana and then climb onto an airconditioned bus to begin our journey deep into the province of Girona.

After traveling for around an hour through the beautiful Catalan countryside, we will arrive at Castellfollit de la Roca, one of the prettiest towns in the Garrotxa region. We will spend half an hour in this idyllic locality, which is constructed on top of a basalt crag, so you can enjoy the spectacular views.

Our journey then continues to Santa Pau, a village located in the heart of the stunning Garrotxa Volcanic Zone Natural Park. Here, we will take a guided tour of the historic center, where you will discover the elegant Plaça major square and the Portal del Mar. Then you will have an hour of your free time to enjoy something to eat as you want.

Our next stop is the Fageda d'en Jordà beech tree forest. This natural reserve covers an area of more than 400 hectares. We will explore these volcanic landscapes for an hour on board a mini tourist train or horse-drawn carriage.

Our trip to Garrotxa finally ends back at the original departure point in Santa Susana.
