Day Trip Details

We'll pick you up from your hotel in Santiago, and journey through the “green lung” of the Andes—Cajón del Maipo. Adventure awaits!

Our first stop is Plaza San José de Maipo, a town declared a National Monument for its colonial buildings. Here, we'll experience local culture and daily life. Continuing onwards, we'll arrive at Cajón del Maipo Gorge, known for its incredible Andean landscapes. With the surrounding mountains and the unbelievable blue water, it's a stunning vista—have those cameras ready!

Next up, we'll continue on to the breathtaking El Yeso Dam, where turquoise waters contrast dramatically with snow-capped peaks. At 2,500 meters (8,202 ft) above sea level, this uniquely placed reservoir offers panoramic views that showcase the raw beauty of the Andean landscape.

Last up, we'll stop at La Casa de Chocolate, or “The House of Chocolate” for a sweet treat, perfect for ending the day!

Finally, we'll return to the starting point 10 hours after the initial pickup time.
