Itinerary
Meet your expert English-speaking guide at your hotel lobby at 8:00am and relax while you are driven 160km to Hangzhou, capital of the Zhejiang Province.
Upon arrival, explore the magnificent Lingyin Temple (meaning Temple of the Soul’s Retreat). It is one of the most famous places of worships in China due to its impressive rock reliefs.
Continue your tour to the West Lake, a beautiful freshwater lake with various temples and artificial islands. You can take a little boat around the lake to discover its numerous landmarks. Then, head to the city center and discover its most lively neighborhoods.
After lunch, visit the stunning Liuhe Pagoda, a religious multi-story tower, built in 970. If you prefer something a little less cultural, visit the tea plantation of the world-famous Longjing tea, once grown exclusively for the Emperors of China.
You will be back in Shanghai at 7pm. You can ask your chauffeur to drop you off at your hotel or at any other location.
