In this beginner diving class in the Natural Park of the Strait, you'll learn the basics of diving while exploring the seabed of the southernmost point of continental Europe!
Do you want to learn how to dive in Tarifa? At the indicated time, we'll meet at the Hotel Tarifa Lances to start this beginner diving class in the Natural Park of the Strait.
First, we'll start with a theoretical lesson of half an hour in which we'll teach you how to use the diving equipment and give you the safety guidelines. With these basic skills and rules, we'll put on our wetsuits and do our first dive in the hotel pool.
Afterwards, we'll travel by minibus to the island of Tarifa, where we'll go on our diving experience in the Natural Park of the Strait of Gibraltar. It's time to put our knowledge into practice! This is an ideal area to get started in scuba diving, as there are hardly any currents and the waters have very good visibility.
We'll dive between 16.5 and 19.5 ft (5 and 6 meters) deep, perfect for getting to know the seabed of the Strait. Corals, schools of fish, octopuses, and lots of other marine life await us in the southernmost point of continental Europe. We'll be diving between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean!
After the diving experience, we'll return to the starting point and end the activity after 3.5 hours.
