Sail along the Norwegian fjords and marvel at one of the world's most amazing natural phenomena on this Northern Lights boat trip from Tromsø.
Tromsø Northern Lights Boat Trip
On the evening of the activity, we'll meet up at Tromsø harbour at 7 pm, ready to embark for our boat trip in search of the aurora borealis.
As we sail further and further from the lights of the city, our eyes will slowly become accustomed to the darkness and we should be able to make out the different colours of the northern lights. Keep your eyes peeled and grab your camera - you'll want to remember this moment forever.
Our boat cruise will continue along the Arctic fjords under the magical illuminations of the aurora borealis. Green, pink, blue... how many flashes of colour will we see in the sky? For the finishing touch on this boat trip, we'll enjoy a hot drink with cookies while we watch the lights dance in the night.
At the end of our four-hour cruise, we'll return to the original departure point in Tromsø, where the activity will end at 11 pm.
The boat used for the northern lights cruise will depend on the number of passengers on the day of the activity. If there are up to 12 people, we'll go on the MS Leone; with up to 50 people, we'll use the MS Strønstad, and with any more than 50, we'll use the MS Aurora Explorer. The latter two boats have a Jacuzzi on board, which will be at your disposal during the cruise.
All of our providers comply with local legislation and applicable health recommendations regarding protective material and safety to help avoid the spread of Covid-19.
