Rialto & Jewish Quarter Tour
Tour Details
At the selected time, we'll meet up next to Santa Lucia Station and begin our fantastic walking tour through some of the most beautiful and lesser-known corners of Venice.
We'll head into the old Jewish quarter via the Ponte delle Guglie (Bridge of the Needles) and start exploring the streets of the district from which the word 'ghetto' originated. During the walk, the guide will tell us all about its history and what life was like for the Jewish community in past times.
Our tour continues as we stroll down Strada Nova, the principal pedestrian high street in Venice. We'll reach Rialto, historically the commercial and financial center of the city. Besides enjoying fabulous views of the Rialto bridge, you can also enjoy a 'cicchetto' snack whilst soaking up the vibrant atmosphere.
After this stop, we'll continue walking until we reach the iconic Piazza San Marco square. Then, having taken some photos, we'll climb aboard a motorboat to enjoy a half-hour boat ride around Venice.
The tour then comes to an end back at the departure point after a total of about 2 hours.
Morning Tour
If you choose to do the morning tour, please note that the itinerary will be done in reverse. Therefore, the starting point will be in front of the Cornoldi barracks (Caserma Cornoldi, in Riva degli Schiavoni), and the tour will end at the Santa Lucia train station.
End of the Tour
At the end of the tour in San Marco Square, the guide will ask you if you want to return to the starting point by boat or if you prefer to stay in the square to continue exploring Venice on your own. The boat transfer is included in the price of the tour if you choose to take advantage of this option.
Important Info
Please note that in the event of bad weather or adverse weather conditions, the boat trip is not guaranteed. If you cannot take the boat, the activity will end at St. Mark's Square and will not be refundable.

If the whole group is in agreement, it's possible to enjoy a ferry-gondola ride across the Grand Canal. The price of this ride is € 2 (US$ 2.34) per person. Please note that this activity is not available during the winter months.
