Christmas lovers, don't miss this tour! After meeting at 3:30 pm at the Charles de Gaulle monument, we'll set off on a walking tour to discover Warsaw's Christmas lights.
We'll start by walking down Nowy Świat, an avenue famous for its Christmas decorations. Here we'll head into a local bar to warm up and enjoy a beer accompanied by a pączek, a traditional Polish doughnut.
Then we'll continue down Krakowskie Przedmieście as we admire emblematic buildings such as the Staszic Palace, headquarters of the Polish Academy of Sciences, the Taras Widokowy Tower, next to the Royal Castle and the Presidential Palace. The city and its monuments take on a new charm at this time of year. On the way, we'll marvel at the Christmas lights, trees and stalls where you can do some shopping.
Lastly, we'll make our way to the Christmas market in the old town of Warsaw, where we'll enjoy a glass of hot wine, typical in the cold regions of Europe. The tour will end at 5:30 at the Warsaw Market Square as we wish each other a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
