Zurich Sunset Tour + Fondue Dinner
Meet us at Sihlquai bus station parking lot, and from here, we'll set off on our sunset tour of Zurich.
First up is a sightseeing tour of the city center. As the evening begins to fall, from the bus, we'll see the sky turn brilliant shades of pink, orange, and purple as it illuminates several city landmarks. Admire the city's bell tower of the Peterskirche Church or the famous shopping avenue Bahnhofstrasse.
Next, we'll continue along Lake Zürichsee's shores and travel to Kilchberg. This town, located on the outskirts of Zurich, is home to the Lindt Home of Chocolate Factory and Museum. Although we won't visit its exhibition, we'll make a stop at its store for some sweets.
Following this brief chocolatey pause, we'll head to the nearby town of Adliswil. This town, which is also located on the outskirts of Zurich, is where we'll climb aboard the Felsenegg cable car. Get ready for breathtaking views as we climb up 800 meters (2,624 feet) above sea level!
From the cable car station, we'll take a short walk to the Felsenegg restaurant, from whose terrace we'll enjoy stunning panoramic views of Zurich and its lake. We'll admire the landscape views while indulging in a 4-course dinner. While the specialties will vary depending on the season, one of the recipes will always be an exquisite Swiss cheese fondue. The menu also includes a welcome drink of white wine in the warmer months and a warming, mulled wine in the cooler season.
Then, we'll take the cable car back down to Adliswil. At the station, the bus will be waiting to take us back to the meeting point in Zurich, where we'll arrive after 4 hours and 45 minutes of adventure.
