At the indicated time, we'll pick you up at your hotel in Arenal. Once we're all here, we'll head to the Caño Blanco Nature Sanctuary, a real oasis where you can admire the natural beauty that's so characteristic of Costa Rica. Are you ready to go on a safari in its waters?
The Caño Blanco Nature Sanctuary is located in the northern plains of Costa Rica. Considered a natural paradise lost, it's a magnificent wetland ecosystem where wildlife blooms in every corner. Upon arrival, we'll hop on board a boat so we can fully explore Caño Blanco.
We'll navigate along the different channels of the wetlands and observe the reserve's typical fauna. Keep your eyes peeled for crocodiles, turtles, spider monkeys, toucans, ospreys, herons, and even iguanas!
Our route will bring us on to the Caño Blanco lagoon, one of the last wild places that Costa Rica preserves. After capturing some stunning photos, we'll return to the mainland and sit down to a delicious meal at the home of a Costa Rican family. We'll indulge in different local flavors of the area and learn all about their culture.
Finally, we'll return to the minibus that will take us back to Arenal, where we'll say goodbye at your hotel 8 hours later.
